Introduction to MSc in Economics and Business Administration - Accounting and Finance
The programme adds to your knowledge about the key financial issues within firms and gives you a foundation to manage a firm’s financial decisions e.g. when acting as a CFO. You will be able to implement models of accounting and finance to support management decisions in all types of organizations.
You will gain skills to independently analyse and make decisions and to solve specific financial management decisions. You will learn about modern thoughts related to corporate finance and accounting, and gain skills in using methods and tools enabling you to develop and solve financial models, and intelligently use of accounting data for management decisions. Finally, you will gain substantial insights into the function of financial markets, instruments and policies and methods and models to evaluate these.
The courses in the profile require that you have good knowledge of financial issues as well as mathematics and statistics. Further, you should be dedicated to learning to master the methods that you will learn in the courses.
